Great news! Daria Sgargi a SPRINT researcher in the "Biostatistics" Operational Unit of the Ramazzini Institute, has won the dedicated research award of Think4Food's Call4Ideas. Think4Food is the project that connects  cooperative enterprises and start-ups, researchers and university students to promote sustainable development in the agri-food sector.

Daria Sgargi was awarded for her work in the SPRINT project. There were 94 participants in Call 4 Talents and Call 4 Ideas, with projects from Bologna, Italy and even abroad. The themes of this year's award-winning projects were: circular economy, waste reduction, and advanced research to protect consumer health, confirm that innovation and sustainability are two key drivers of development for the entire agrifood cooperative supply chain.
