Project background
The overall aim of SPRINT H2020 project is to develop, test, validate and deliver a Global Health Risk Assessment Toolbox for the integrated assessment of the impacts of PPPs [formulations (F), active substances (a.S.), metabolites (Me) and mixtures (Mi)] on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems (E), plant (P), animal (A) and human (H) health (EPAH). Transition pathways towards sustainable use of PPPs will be identified in a multi-actor approach.


Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly-motivated candidate to join our interesting project. The candidate will work in the field with the relevant stakeholders to assess EPAH health through sampling and interviews/workshops to collect data necessary for the inventory of PPP distribution at the regional scale. A second part of the work consists of data analysis, creating a database for storing all data collected at the case study sites in Europe for evaluation and publications.

Your profile
The successful candidate should have a strong research interest in pesticides impact on EPAH health. Applicants should hold a PhD degree in geosciences, environmental sciences, agricultural sciences, animal sciences or disciplines related to the position. The candidate should have good knowledge of English and experience in writing of scientific papers, and participation in international conferences.
